When off, the sounder will still provide chime when the control’s Chime mode is on. When on, any faulted zone(s) causes a voice status annunciation, chime, and display. Voice Chime On/Off: Press the FUNCTION + VOICE + VOLUME + keys. Voice Chime You can set each Keypad to announce faulted (opened) entry/exit or perimeter zones whenever the control panel’s Chime mode is on by turning on the Voice Chime mode. Each time you enter the command to adjust the volume, the word “CHECK” will be heard to verify the current setting.Volume cannot be adjusted while playing a message. Adjusting message volume also adjusts status volume.To adjust the volume: Press FUNCTION + VOICE + VOLUME keys, then press the desired volume control key ↑ (up) or ↓ (down).
The recorded message will remain in memory until a new message is recorded. The recorded message plays and the red MESSAGE LED turns off. After the message is played once the MESSAGE LED will go out. The red MESSAGE LED will flash indicating a message waiting to be played. Note: A message cannot be recorded during the Exit Delay period. On a Honeywell VISTA Series panel, the backup battery is usually a large black box found inside the system's beige metal cabinet. In this case, simply unplug the battery from the circuit board to disconnect the battery. The battery on a wireless Honeywell Panel will typically be plugged into the circuit board. On a wireless all-in-one panel, you may have to remove its back cover to access the battery. The location of this battery varies between different systems. Every Honeywell Control Panel has a backup battery. To power off a Honeywell Alarm System, complete the following steps, in this order:ġ. You can confirm that the system has powered on by checking its display screen or keypad. It will usually take a few minutes for this process to complete. The panel should automatically turn back on. When you want to turn your system back on, first plug-in the transformer. Once both are disconnected, the panel will shut down. You should disconnect the backup battery before unplugging the transformer. These include its backup battery and its plug-in transformer. You can turn off your Honeywell Alarm System by disconnecting both of its power supplies.
